The Serving Armies of The Standing Bankers

One would be a fool to think that because they could see the delusions and denial of those around them that they were free of some degree of the same. You can’t occupy a human body with its sensory apparatus and be free of it. Even if you were free of delusions about the nature and operations of the manifest world you would not be free of delusions about yourself. Even an awareness of the world is a delusion because it indicates a state of dreaming that doesn’t exist, except as a projection upon a blank screen. The screen is real, the projection is not.

However, even if the pool a man is drowning in is not real, this does not mean you should not try to pull him out of it. His suffering is real to him, even if he is in denial about it.

I know that agents of the American and Israeli government were the authors of 9/11. I know this. Many others know this. Then there are those who buy the official line which is impossible. The very fact that no jets were scrambled during the event points to government complicity. The free fall of three buildings into their own footprints and the evidence of nano-thermite prove controlled demolition. Consider these things in a court of law.

Why then do seemingly intelligent people resist the obvious truth? Let’s give an example of a personality type. Let’s take a man who went to war in Vietnam or Iraq under the illusion that he was fulfilling some patriotic duty to a democratic country. We’ve since learned that the Vietnam War and the Iraq War, like nearly all wars, were the brain child of bankers who initiated them for profit. Let’s consider that the so-called democratic country is not, in fact, a democratic country but a serf nation in fealty to a collection of bankers called The Federal Reserve. All of the representatives of this serf nation are employed by the bank and serve at the pleasure of the bank. John Steinbeck illustrated the nature of the bank in his wonderful novel, “The Grapes of Wrath”. Today you see the reality of ‘the bank’ at work in wars for profit, in foreclosures and corporate thefts as well as the tightening of counterfeit, fiat currency flow into the economy.

This man who went to Vietnam has bought into his own sense of sacrifice and whatever idea of manhood he thought he got out of it. He even wallows in the injustice of his state, given how the war ended and the public’s view of it. It defines him to himself. He’s listening to Bruce sing, “Glory Days” on the bar stool of his dotage. He went from soldier to college graduate and into a field that relied on the serf nation for his employment. He bought into the system and served the system, continuing to believe that there are good wars and that his nation is a democratic one. He seeks justice in the system believing that the public interest is served. In reality, the poor usually go to jail and the rich stay out or spend their time in a country club. If he looks clearly at it he cannot justify his position with his conscience so he becomes philosophical and interprets everything that happens within a fantasy construct the same way he did with Vietnam.

Deep inside this man strives to believe that he is a hero. He rocks along with John Fogerty and never hears a word. All across this democratic land, there are men and women like him. They are lawyers and businessmen; politicos, doctors, engineers, teachers and whathaveyou and they all work for the system. The system allows only so much in the way of personal or reactive thought and action. When you’re heavily involved in it and in debt to it, it owns you... no matter what you tell yourself. It owns you. You can’t act outside of it and you can’t speak against it or yonder looms the highway and the sleeping bag under the overpass. This living state of compromise and hypocrisy in the service of a confined, personal survival is untenable to a real person. A real person doesn’t ask themselves the cost of truth. They pay the toll.

No one wants to have to accept that they went to war or that their children died in wars that existed only for the profit of bankers or the pressures of a foreign nation who control the banks that start the wars. No one wants to be put into the position where they jeopardize their position by speaking out against lies and hypocrisies, so they pretend they don’t exist while the very thing stares them in the face. This is how you die inside. This is how you lose your youthfulness and all of the finer qualities that made you who you think you are but no longer are because these finer qualities will not stay in the heart of a man who is false to himself.

How is it that a man can think himself brave by going to war for bankers and not find himself capable of going to war for the very essence of what these false wars were presented as being about? All the phony medals and awards of this phony world are useless except in the company of other men and women who lie to themselves. They think they are honest yet they embrace dishonesty at every turn. They think they are brave yet they kneel in a moment before the oppressors of humanity. They think they are useful but they are all bad examples and willing servants of the engines of enslavement. They watch movies about people in dire peril who win the day because that’s how movies go. They think they are one of those people but they are given the same choices as the people in the movie and they turn away. They turn away.

No man can see the world as it is who does not look closely at himself. No one can know the meaning of anything if they do not know the meaning of themselves.

It is something to see; people who imagine they are standing forth and speaking the truth while hearing the roar of the crowd. One does not hear the roar of the crowd when one speaks the truth. One hears the rustling of chairs and the sound of people leaving the hall. Why is this? The people who are leaving are not leaving because of the speaker. They are leaving because what is inside them cannot accept the responsibility that comes with hearing the truth and failing to act.

Such an immensity of lies surround us that it threatens to block out the sun. It has certainly blocked out the light of introspection and objectivity within so many of us. Enshrined lies now have their own laws to protect them. The only time a purported truth needs protection is when it is concealing the lies contained within it. If something is true then further inquiry only proves it so.

The men from Vietnam and Iraq believe they have sacrificed so much for their country but they fought and died and... in some part survived ...conflicts generated by bankers. They are fools to believe otherwise but they do. Having embraced this lie it is not so hard to embrace each succeeding lie. They want to be a part of all they imagined to be true. They go on to fill the positions freely given to those who can accept and perpetuate the lies. They corrupt their own children with these lies after first having corrupted themselves. They corrupt their friends and their neighborhoods. Their churches speak of the deep things in unknown places which honor those who gave their service to God and Country. It was always the bank. It was always about the money; money for the men who did not go to war, money for the men who created the wars for money.

The greatest of honors are reserved for those who have the courage to see the lies and to admit that they were in service to lies and who then denounced the lies and their own complicity in them. These are the few and the brave who are no longer proud. How often have we seen any man accomplish this before the world and then go on to live the truth he has discovered at the cost of all he once believed to be true?

It has been truly asked what it profits a man to gain everything and lose himself. There are real heroes among us but their ranks are not composed of the men and women who have served the interests of those who sacrificed them for a lie.

How true it is, and for centuries now... no way this will change without divine intervention.

Ciao Les,

You have a gift of insight, and the ability to get right to the point, the truth, with incredible talent as a writer.

The VFW halls and American Legions are full of unfortunate souls, desperately trying to hold onto the myth of their own self-worth and the concept of a great godlike nation. There is a reason they drink heavily in these clubs...cowardess, guilt and shame.

It was stated long ago, by many sages, that the world is a crucible that purifies one's soul. This purification is the what the alchemists refer to as deriving gold from the dross material. If human life was heaven, without the suffering, what would be the point?

It is up to the very rich Americans to turn their f$*king TVs and IPODs off, and meditate about life. You can still buy very powerful books of magic, such as "The Boof of Secrets" (Rajneesh), which contain many techniques to discover reality. Hell, you can even easily and cheaply buy powerful books on practical Kabbalah (take that Jews)!

Certainly, evil forces control the world. The mythological character Jesus (Father Ra) stated as much, but who listens? Most Americans have at least two hours per day they can devote to self enlightenment.

Instead, they tweeter away their precious hours and life energy, which is exactly what the "evil self chosen ones" wish them to do. Guess what people, the best way to fight back is to choose to evolve personally. If you do that, then the shadow people will fade away quicker than a bad cold.

Les,
You use a very good case to show the split we face with doing and not understanding what we are doing to things? I was once a "warrior" for the bankers. I had some idea of this as the Army was a big money suck on taxes payers. It didnt fit togethter till 911. I was still in the Army at that time. I remember saying,"I hope we can return to the days before 911." Well not so. The media just keep pushing this new world view(order), that we live in a world of hate and crimes. Long story short, I'm not in the servce anymore. I saw the crime that I helped to create and wish not to field hate in the world. Its wasnt easy to walk away from. I loved my men, and the missions and time we spent together. It truly helped me become a rounded person. But it to keep me from the goal I really wished for, understanding. After some time I looked into my nature. This came slowly and with much pain and loss of friends and what not. Today Im still working just as hard but with a smile. I have seen the light.
PS We know what can block the Sun's light, no lies can do this!!!

I suspected for most of my adult life that everything around me was based on lies, but when I saw what happened to people who expressed this idea, it made me shut up.

Then 911 happened, and I could see that all of our institutions are shot through with lies, hypocrisy, cowardice, and that all my suspicions were confirmed. And like you, when I question what people believe, they get up and leave because they don't want to take responsibility for 'doing nothing' which is all the evil needs to triumph. I have developed a standard for the kinds of people I consider my friends. If they believe lies, they can find other friends who believe lies--not me. I'd be pretty lonely if it wasn't for the internet. Anyway, I applaud your work. This piece, im my mind has the most eloquently expressed profound thoughts I have seen from you to date. I expect more. Don't let me down.

Hatha;

Here is one of my favorite poems,

I went into a public-'ouse to get a pint o' beer,
The publican 'e up an' sez, "We serve no red-coats here."
The girls be'ind the bar they laughed an' giggled fit to die,
I outs into the street again an' to myself sez I:
O it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, go away";
But it's "Thank you, Mister Atkins", when the band begins to play,
The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
O it's "Thank you, Mister Atkins", when the band begins to play.

I went into a theatre as sober as could be,
They gave a drunk civilian room, but 'adn't none for me;
They sent me to the gallery or round the music-'alls,
But when it comes to fightin', Lord! they'll shove me in the stalls!
For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, wait outside";
But it's "Special train for Atkins" when the trooper's on the tide,
The troopship's on the tide, my boys, the troopship's on the tide,
O it's "Special train for Atkins" when the trooper's on the tide.

Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep
Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap;
An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit
Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit.
Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, 'ow's yer soul?"
But it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll,
The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll,
O it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll.

We aren't no thin red 'eroes, nor we aren't no blackguards too,
But single men in barricks, most remarkable like you;
An' if sometimes our conduck isn't all your fancy paints,
Why, single men in barricks don't grow into plaster saints;
While it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, fall be'ind",
But it's "Please to walk in front, sir", when there's trouble in the wind,
There's trouble in the wind, my boys, there's trouble in the wind,
O it's "Please to walk in front, sir", when there's trouble in the wind.

You talk o' better food for us, an' schools, an' fires, an' all:
We'll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational.
Don't mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face
The Widow's Uniform is not the soldier-man's disgrace.
For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Chuck him out, the brute!"
But it's "Saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot;
An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please;
An' Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool -- you bet that Tommy sees!

I'm probably addressing this to anon 8:38 as well

I'm a vet and I grew up in a military family with 4 brothers and a sister under the dominance of a Top Kick that even the other brutals thought was out of line. Fists and anything handy were my daily bread in my land of dread. I had scant childhood and that routed right into the military- prison, max mental... I was in my early twenties before I got to draw an even breath.

I'm doing what I do because that is what I am. The Top Kick didn't change it. The Military, the mental hospital, the world (bigger mental hospital) didn't change it. Alcohol and drugs didn't change it.
Hellfire and hope for redemption has not changed my MOS. The fact that I am still alive is living proof that there is a God so I don't have to worry about letting you down and I've got no contract with you to begin with. I say my piece and I live what I write.

I've no thought about letting others down. I'm focused on not letting myself down. I say this in a friendly way.

I am on the slopes of Mount Doom and that ring is going into the volcano with or without my finger.

I enjoy reading your words.
Early on in my own childhood, I knew that the greatest sense of being is when experiencing the unknown, ( as I had when I was a boy, in my NDE when I had drowned).
The majority of people in the world have simply lost the life in living and now appear base.

Like when reading between each word, or understanding the key to music is between the notes, so in life our very spiritual being is located between each stillness of every thought.
The evil forces (demons) are working harder than ever to dampen our spirits and mental awareness to the approaching major conflicts.

I just pray that it is not too late to stop that which what has been foreshadowed by numerous prophets of the very beast, the devil itself, that modern mankind has willingly allowed to rise.

If so, then we all shall experience the unfortunate-ultimate-reality in the very moment when we lose are lives.

"In order to assist someone who is drowning, tell the person who is in trouble to remain calm and that you are there to help them. Quickly look for any type of float or floatation device to toss to the victim. If one is unavailable, try to extend a rope or pole for them to grab onto. If a float, rope, or pole cannot be secured and used to help assist the victim to safety, then and only then enter the water to personally assist them. Personally entering the water to save a drowning victim is to be used as a last resort as it jeopardizes the lives of both the rescuer and the person needing assistance. Persons who are drowning are generally in a panicked state and possess unusual strength and power. Unfortunately, this has resulted in the victim unintentionally pulling under and drowning the rescuer. If you do enter the water, repeat firmly to the victim to remain calm and stop fighting the water. Encourage them to hold onto you and float on their backs. By floating on their backs, the water will help buoy them, which will make it easier for you to pull them to safety. If a person continues to panic and their violent thrashing begins to pull you under, try to break free from their grasp so you can regain your strength and leverage in the water. Once you have recovered, again attempt to rescue them by repeating the need for them to remain calm and to float on their backs as you pull them to safety."

They say mother earth is breathing
With each wave that finds the shore
Her soul rises in the evening
For to open twilight's door
Her eyes are the stars in heaven
Watching o'er us all the while
And her heart it is in Ireland
Deep within the Emerald Isle.

We are forty against hundreds
In someone elses bloody war
We know not why we're fighting
Or what we're dying for
They will storm us in the morning
When the sunlight turns to sky
Death is waiting for its dance now
Fate has sentenced us to die.

Ireland I am coming home
I can see your rolling fields of green
And fences made of stone.
I am reaching out won't you take my hand
I'm coming home Ireland.

Oh the captain he lay bleeding
I can hear him calling me
"These men are yours now for the leading
Show them to their destiny "
And as I look up all around me
I see the ragged tired and torn
I tell them to make ready
'Cause we're not waiting for the morn.

Ireland I am coming home
I can see your rolling fields of green
And fences made of stone.
I am reaching out won't you take my hand
I'm coming home Ireland.

Now the fog is deep and heavy
As we forge the dark and fear
We can hear their horses breathing
As in silence we draw near
There are no words to be spoken
Just a look to say good-bye
I draw a breath and night is broken
As I scream our battle cry.

Ireland I am coming home
I can see your rolling fields of green
And fences made of stone.
I am reaching out won't you take my hand
I'm coming home Ireland.

Yes I am home Ireland

Excellent post Les. Another finger on the pulse piece.

Making the journey from believing you are the perception of yourself, to being yourself is, in most cases, arduous and filled with fear. There are so many changes along the way, and for some reason, which I have not yet determined, most people just don't like change. It is the only thing in life that is permanent, and most avoid it like it was the plague.

Another thing people hate and avoid is being wrong. They seem to have this idea, and I used to also, that being wrong made them less somehow. diminished their value as a human being. Judging their self worth through some external perception, and most never see the anomaly in their own behavior. They hate being wrong, but they hate people that are never wrong. I'm kind of dwelling on this being wrong thing, because learning the value of it, is something that has allowed me to learn most of what little I know, or think I know. Most never see that they never learn anything by being "right". We only learn when we are wrong about something, and if you acquire a love of learning, you find you don't mind being wrong.

I put that right in quotes because I believe that the concept of right and wrong is another self limiting concept, that in actuality only exists in your mind. We create it in regards to what we believe. There is what is, and then there is what we believe should be. If what is matches up with what we believe should be then that's "right". If you agree with me, then you're right. If what we believe doesn't match up with what is, then that's "wrong". You don't agree with me, then fuck you, you're "wrong".

So many are not willing to even look at lies so blatant they could set you on fire, because they can't stand the thought that they were taken in by the lie, and have been wrong. They cannot live with the thought that their government would lie to them, or kill it's own citizens, just to start a war so that the people they really represent can make money.

If they allowed themselves to see the lies, they would also have to deal with the fact that they were wrong, and everyone knows that if you are wrong, you're a piece of shit, and worthless. That is a mindset that has been cultivated by TPTB, because it is fertile soil for the lies. They know all they have to do is fool the masses for a little while, and they will be unwilling to see the see the lie, for fear of having to confront themselves.

In the end you are not what you own, or eat, or how you look or what others think you are. You are what and who you are, and until you know that, no one else will. Peace my friends, and have the courage to be wrong at least once a day.

Les I have followed your posts for many months. I am well aware of the many contemporary issues you have covered – 911, the new world order, the great awakening etc. For those of us who ignore the Main Stream Propaganda Outlets these issues are not new and in many ways you “preach to the choir”.

I was born in Belfast In 1969, 5 months before the SHTF and my entire upbringing is coloured by those days. That is not meant as a negative. If given a chance I would change nothing. I was a peripheral player in the events of my time but they left me with lessons of love in adversary, brotherhood with my people and an eternal opposition to government.

When I have watched the events of the last few years - the butchery in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank I thought my education was over. There exists a class of humans – a subspecies - that thrives on the death of others. Almost like Bram Stokers’s vampires.

You are the only blogger that I have come across that tries to introduce a spiritual element to the great turmoil we are all feeling. I walked away from my spiritual existence because the period of conflict that I knew was tainted by overtures of “religion”. I am at a stage in my life where I can contemplate this sore point once again.

This last week or so I have found a little unsettling. I moved away about 10 years ago to Scotland. In many ways your “jokey” article proved to be a lightning rod. It touched an ember that had lain dormant.

I watched many young men from England– children almost – in uniform carry out the work of the oppressor. We had little sympathy for those who had joined the ranks “because it was a job”.

It is not an offence to have been foolish. The hidden hand knows well that young men are easily led and many are feeling the price of it. Here is a small example of the that for one family http://informationclearinghouse.info/article23112.htm

Currently the ranks are filled by a “volunteer” army. However the first feelers emerge for a new flavour of conscription/draft. Will the greater population tolerate such a thing? The meat grinder needs to be fed!

PS, Les, I recommend “only our rivers run free”. I always think of this when I remember my fallen comrades

I have been reading your posts on Visible Origami, this one, and Smoking Mirrors for some time, i never commented because for some reason, trying to express what I wanted to say, as well as questions, were somewhat hard; afraid of saying or asking the wrong things, I guess, but reading this was making me think of a part in a film
This brings me to mind of some words I consider to be important and reflective of what is going on with the majority of people and what we/they are facing, or, are having difficulty coming to terms with- those who are inside the system without seeing it for what it really is, right now.

(i am only picking out a piece that i feel does have some relevance to present times)hopefully a number of you are familiar with the film or novel, but here are the words from character Tyler Durden in Fight Club- based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk (actor Brad Pitt reciting this) :

"Men, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables, slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war...our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off."

I hope, slowly, and do see some activity in some areas where it seems some people are slowly beginning to see that what is thrown at them is not all there is and should not be, but are barriers to their true inner nature and the powers they can generate..that there is a flame within that they can grow..by meditating, by being creative, by giving what should be given, by being intuitive, by reflecting what they really want and who they are working for; who do they want their master to be? What results do they see coming from what it is they do? Theres much more to what i just said, but, si, trying to get my point/idea across.

I hope to be able to comment more often from time to time and respond the best i can, as this is my first comment on a post :)

Thank you for your work, as it is with most of your readers, the things you say and think about often are on point with things I have thought about. Great work, Les :)

About two years ago I started reading you from the UK's The Truth Seeker site, because something attracted me. The "wanting to make sense of it all in a world with a lot of wrong in it", I think. Thank you for what you wrote. Then I stopped reading you, reading only The Truth Seekers lead-in description, because something pushed me away. The use of colorful and unusual word or phrase combinations that felt like an attempt at looking really "perceptive" by you, I think.

But today The Truth Seeeker's lead-in did actually lead me in. And I read the whole post of yours, and several comments.

I kept reading because I hoped that YOU were the one who formerly was in an armed service, that you were writing from actual personal experience, rather than reporting that of, say, one of your friends or acquaintances.

Then, like, "Thank you for sharing and I feel your struggle, Les."

Kswan;

given your natural level of eloquence I am surprised you have not commented before.

Fight Club hit a lot of the right notes and you can find a lot of those same guys come around here of a Saturday Night with a wicked left hook to go with that Ali Jab thing.

One of the men I have most admired in this life is Muhammad Ali. I saw some of myself in him at times, though that might not be regarded favorably. He was my Michael Jackson ...and then then there was Martin Luther King. I was in CB3 (cellblock 3) at the D. C. Jail the day he died.

They bussed in fighters from all over.

Then I was standing at the Medical Technical Attendants kiosk at Petersburg Reformatory when I saw on the television they had shot that other Kennedy. Different fight club tune.

I got the real time meaning of both "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Fight Club". The scenery has changed with the years and so have the tactics which is probably the point of les visible.

I don't know if the readers are familiar with taking the Kings shilling, it is probably a British thing.

But if you go into a British, or Irish pub you may notice the tankard with the glass bottom. The reason for this is, when offered a drink by the recruiting sergeant, the drinker would "accept" the shilling as he emptied the tankard. So by inventing the glass bottom the drinker could see if he were being deceived. This of course would not apply to the gentry, but more likely to the riff-raff, as they would be using a jug, or a mug. The British navy were more forceful of course, as they would press-gang the recruit, with alcohol, and kidnap.

While I read your piece and the following comments, a thought will come to mind. Not all who join the services will do it at the behest of the bankers, more like they will be fooled by the bankers and their ilk. So we must give some respect to those who have served and to have realized in later time their sacrifice was a lie. I have memories of old men who fought in the Great war who were shattered husks. I still know men who are suffering of more recent and closer wars. I somehow think we should be careful if we condemn veterans, for as they have had the courage to kill, and yet they had no courage to resist.

We are all capable of killing, and indeed we will all kill as the need may yet arise in the not too distant future. The one good thing for our future is, we have debate and thought provoking subjects on sites such as this, alas we have no debate in most of the MSM, but with the internet we could try to reach more young people, and eliminate the need for more heroes for the elite community of our world.

Regards, Mac.

I didn't take this as blaming veterans...I took this as outlining processes to process sheep headed to slaughter...how hard it is to figure, that in a young person's breast is a yearning and excitement to live a life, to do something worthy with that life, to explore the world and to go out and live? If you are born poor to lower middle class, or even middle class without great guidance AND an adult's vision of a plan for your life...what are your choices? Does America give you the choice of job training/apprenticeship at affordable rates? Do you get affordable assistance and guidance to college if you have ability? What if your parents are divorced and there is no stabability, guidance or vision at home...but you have this enduring desire to be something...to live a life, to contribute? How, at 17/18, with the limited education you received in these schools gonna accomplish that? If you have any ideals at all...with all the propaganda...it just might be fed/led/bedded in the services....yeah, I can see how they got there...and I can see how they are waking up ALL OVER...questioning oneself is a natural output of living life on earth...this blog serves, for me, a necessary step in understanding the questioning of oneself, which naturally leads to questioning of society, government, laws, etc. Oh are so easily harnessed YOUTH...may it give way to wisdom.

Brilliant, yet again.

This is only about the relatively informed of us, and while a powerfully complicit-with-bankers'-for-profit wars do indeed live a life of total denial, there is also an equally powerful group of people who far outnumber these individuals, or so I propose.

I find that most are on the cusp of understanding and turn away, and for them this is completely appropriate criticism. There is, however, another group of those who are in fact under sedation and possibly hypnosis by the "entertainment" media we are given instead of the truth.

Our battle and message must advance with our total understanding of the many tentacles of power.

It may be as simple as there are no decent jobs--play the odds--go into the Navy or Air Force where you don't stomp the ground--
If you can only get into the Marines or Army, roll the dice and hope you come back home in one piece--it's all a crap shoot.
I know a Vietnam Vet who has all kinds of health problems via agent orange and the VA fucking up over and over--two of his kids signed up for the army and have served in Afghanistan--WTF?

With no manufacturing jobs (the decent ones) left for those coming our of high school, they see their only option as the military--and those who come from broken, fucked up homes--how bad can it be compared to what they have been living in for 18 years?

By design?

Les, your song link boils it down to the individuals that we so often have shaded from our vision--families, lovers.....real people chewed up and left for dead.

Greetings Dumballah... Here's one of my favourite poems. I am one of those moping loons that begrudge their 'Service'. I try not to think about it anymore, I invariably find myself weeping, numb with regret, in the temple of my own despair. And so it goes..

'I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life with empty joy
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark
And whistled early with the lark

In winter trenches cowed and glum
With crumps* and lice and a lack of rum
He put a bullet through his brain
No one spoke of him again

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march bye
Sneak home and pray you’ll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go...'

Siegfried Sassoon; 1st battle of The Somme 1914

(*close proximatey impact of artillery)

I don't appreciate the use of the word 'Hero', being bandied about. Much the same way as many of the people who have commented here and not 'Served' would not appreciate me using the 'C' word, cunt, actually. Even thought they don't know what the word 'Kunt' originally meant.

To criticize someone for naivity is tantamount to sneering with hindsight. None of you could possibly hate me as much as I do, for the mistakes I have made.

Ever seen those lesbians called W.A.R 'Women Against Rape' in War. They turn up at Armistace marches and Rememberance Ceremonies and jeer at the veterans. They do not care about women that have been raped in war, it is just a PC excuse to sneer and jeer. I do not March because I refuse to play a role in the Media propaganda circus - that's my business.

I am 100% behind all of you with the task at hand: Engage the Zionist Pigmen and all their instruments of enslavement; NWO, Freemasonry, Catholicism, WHATEVER! Just don't let me be in your physical proximatey if I catch you sneering and jeering.

I grew up with a stepfather in the military. I knew by the age of five that I wanted nothing to do with that crap. I also knew well before I turned eighteen that the Vietnam war was a lie. When I went to register for the draft there was a space to list any reasons why one thought they were not suitable for military service. I attached an extra page.

Somehow I figured this out while going to public schools. Maybe it was because I read a lot. The Red Badge of Courage and Johnny Got His Gun were in the school library.

Trying to think of a parallel of ignorance and naivete here, all I can think of is the time from the late 1970s to late '80s which I spent in the lumber industry on the West Coast, participating in the Reagan era rape of the last of the primeval old growth forests. Did you know that more logs were cut from national forest lands during that time than the total cut before or since? A lot more.

I wasn't cutting the trees, I was turning the best of the old growth into high-end lumber, and I had no idea of the rape that was going on. But hey, eventually I found out, and I quit participating. Not only that but I turned against the land rapers, and did my best to expose them. That's about all there was left to do; the forests were gone.

So what is my opinion of those loggers and truckdrivers who were so proud of of their work that they drove around with bumper stickers promoting barbecued spotted owl? Scum comes pretty close.

BTW, the reason they finally shut down the logging had nothing to do with conservation or ecology. Everything that was left was signed over as collateral on the national debt, just like the big coal deposits in Utah.

Thank you Mr Visible, both for a sharp article and for providing a space for a rambler.

I have been battling for some time over why the armed forces don’t seem to be getting the traditional support from their governments anymore, despite being used to fight the wars they have started. There are some glaring contradictions here.

The British armed forces in particular are being broken of their Pride in defending their Country (the examples are endless, but one case in point is shutting the military hospitals and putting wounded soldiers into wards alongside civilian patients ....). It seems the Labour government is extraordinarily “anti” the men it is using to carry out “its” policies and “pro” humiliating them. So much so, there was a furore and the BBC has changed its tune a bit.

It is different from the past. Not enough men to do the job, no attempt at good administration of occupation, not enough equipment for the troops. Poisoned water and food. Vet benefits cut. Why I kept asking.

The patriotism thing may be going down the same as ever in the States, but in the UK this isn’t the case. The Scottish / Welsh / English regiments are being knocked for six to be combined into a big amorphous mess of an army. Why take away what keeps them fighting proudly in their particular age-old regiment?

At first I thought it was an excuse to put off potential recruits to the public army, thereby encouraging recruiting for “security” companies. Bust the army of the people, I surmised, and you can bring in the private armies to protect, not the nation but the rich, who are international. Also you break the idea of loyalty by employing soldiers from different countries into one private hogfest of violence for violence’ sake. No one in Blackwater is fighting for his country, only for filthy lucre.

But no, of course, it isn’t just that.

It’s the concept of Nation and National Sovereignty itself that is being blown away. To combine Europe, the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia into one White Western World Federation you must remove their sense of “nation”. The New World Order isn’t really Global, yet, we are in the Pre-Global Stage. We have to set up two opposing sides and have WW III first —against the Brown and Yellow people of everywhere else. First, of course, you have to get rid of the idea of (King) and Country.

When the Big Disturbance comes, soldiers (they hope) will have no problem fighting and killing their own people, as they will have no “feeling” or loyalty for nation or country. It’s part of the plan.

Sorry, I’m not able to express myself today very well. I hope someone gets the point I’m flailing about trying to make.

Hello Friends;

I’ve been in the hospital for the last two days due to a kidney stone attack. Apparently it is a big kidney stone of around 5 05 6 millimeters and they were trying to get me into surgery to put in a ‘stent’ and then to perhaps puncture the kidney and whatever else they like to do in those allopathic butcher shops. I demurred on this and the pain stopped so I came home to research the internet for alternative cures while saying I was actually going to a large teaching hospital for a second opinion. Over the first night before going in I had to endure that special kidney pain for about fourteen hours until what little in the way of pain remedies that I had became inefficient.

Now I am drinking two liters of Coca-cola (I have not drank any of that in decades) which will be followed by about half a pound of pureed asparagus which I am told will flush the stone which is to be broken up by the phosphor in the Coca-cola. There are a number of other remedies which I have also in hand to attempt as well. The doctor tells me I have the possibility of heavy danger if I do not let them cut me up but I can’t see that as the answer and have never had good results from anything doctors of this stripe have done for me. They even managed to fuck up a broken leg so… I will appreciate any well wishing coming my way and I will probably not be putting up any blog entries (though I can manage to post your comments) until I have seen where this takes me.

Regards,

To all.

A kidney stone story of possible interest:

I knew a young woman who had come down with severe hemorrhoids; none of the drugs or treatments were working, so they had her scheduled for surgery. The day before she was supposed to go in, she was reading Adelle Davis' Let's Get Well, looked up hemorrhoids, and found vitamin B6 recommended. She went and bought some B6 tabs and the hemorrhoids disappeared in a few hours.

Six months later she ended up in the hospital with a kidney stone. When it passed, she finally got around to reading the next page of Let's Get Well, which said not to increase B6 without also increasing Magnesium or one might get kidney stones.

Haven't heard of the Coca-Cola trick before but it makes sense. It's loaded with phosphoric acid, which dissolves Calcium. Phosphoric acid is what gives Coke its tang, and is also why it dissolves Calcium from teeth and bones.

Greetings Dumballah... I hope you are better soon. I have been laid low with semi-chronic ailments also; I am feeling better now though. I don't like enjoying good health when my friends and family are sick; I hope you are always feeling better than I am ad infinitum. I was pondering the FEMA camps the other day, Oz has many and has used them dis-proportionately against victims of their wars who attempt to escape the horror. It came to me on a whimsy that some day we may meet in person, this epiphany was inspired by the coincidence of yourself and me and several other fellow travellers having malladys at the same time - my Doctor suggested I might be having a reccurrence of Malaria - I haven't had a Malaria attack for several years; fancy that! I do believe my vocal signature both in my community at large and nationally and on the Net would not go without notice. I have been warned; by a friend no doubt! Here's the thing, if by chance we cross paths "...in the corner of some foreign", 'Red Zone' - I will not whine or gripe, the smile on my face will be genuine and I will be reciting these lines in my head:

Sound, sound the Clarion
Strike up the Fife
and throughout this sensual world proclaim
One crowded hour of glorious life
is worth an Age without a name!

My prayerful energy is focussed upon your speedy recovery.

I ask my fellow commenters here to visualize with me: Visible overcoming his pain, going all the way through to the other side, healing with perfect clarity of mind and surrounded by people who love him, appreciating his brilliance, being of like minds and loving hearts.
He will get through this, another classic siege this life throws in our, in his path. Soon come the days of olive harvest and songbirds at the door. Meanwhile we see him inching ever closer to solution, we see him past this time, we see him healed and heal-thy. We see him overcome, indeed triumph gaining deeper understanding in this latest cruel trial of a man's worth.
Inshalla.
